Duwayne mcdaniel, president
Over the past 37 years, DuWayne McDaniel, owner of Bryant Iowa Heating and Cooling has built a reputation across Ankeny, IA, and the surrounding areas for quality and trusted residential and commercial HVAC and water heating services. Along with his Masters in HVAC and Hydronics, DuWayne maintains NATE certification and EPA licensing to safely and properly handle all refrigerants. He’s further certified in HVAC by the US Department of Labor and won the BBB Torch Award. DuWayne is also a proud recipient of the Circle of Champion Award for eight consecutive years from 2015 to the present. Hailing from Radcliffe, Iowa, he is dedicated to small-town values.
John sawhill, cfo
John joined Bryant Iowa Heating and Cooling in 2025. John Sawhill is a Des Moines, Iowa-based entrepreneur and former collegiate athlete. Beyond the role at Bryant Iowa, he is the owner of five Sky Zone Trampoline Park locations located throughout the Midwest. Prior to this, John gained extensive experience in commercial lending, having served as a Business Development Officer at Farmers State Bank from April 2018 to February 2023, and as a Business Banker at Home State Bank between April 2013 and April 2018. Outside of his professional endeavors, John was a dedicated defensive tackle for the Drake University Bulldogs football team from 2008 to 2011. Hailing from Jefferson, Iowa, he is dedicated to small-town values.
